3:30pm View back toward Ensenada from further away

Here is a low resolution video taken around 4:30pm. Lawrence usually sends high resolution but sometimes we have issues. What I see is that they were motoring-sailing toward the island with calm seas, light winds and a beautiful setting sun.

Per Lawrence's text:

Arrived 1705.   Crazy tight anchorage, steep cliffs.  Deep  water.   Adventure anchoring I would call this. Fisherman came to offer a welcome and advice.  Great to have Spanish speakers!

Looks like Andrew on the bow approaching Isla Todos Santos Sur

Fisherman waving after a warm welcome and advice!

Then Lawrence sent photos and another update:

Lots of fish, sea lions barking loudly!  Prolly not the best place for a swim.  In the back of the cove are very tall cliffs.  Wind is dying and turning into a nice evening.  We have 5 different electronic gadgets with anchor alarms set tight!   Buenos tardes

What exactly is happening in this fishing location?
Fish farming???  Ocean-Raised True Striped Bass

Gloria and Ryan either anchored or anchoring or surveying anchoring spots
What are those expressions are telling us?? 😆

Let's start by mentioning that it's an odd day...

Trivia from brother Roland

Gloria on the starboard bow - photo presumably taken from someone in the dinghy

Bluewater definitely has an anchor line down from the center of the bow but....
....what is going on at the stern?

It's anybody's guess what's going on here...
Only the blue line belongs to Bluewater to my knowledge
Mark guessed that maybe that slimy seaweed encrusted line is some sort of mooring line but...???

And in closing, all Lawrence said was.....Our last anchorage was interesting.

OK Lawrence, for homework please send any stories worth telling!
