Got a text from Lawrence with departure information.

Destination Dana Point

NOTE:  Destination subsequently altered enroute; changed course to Oceanside instead of Dana Point

I asked about distance

~ 37.   Full throttle both engines.  7.2 SOG.   Hoping to make it before dark

Full main, 5 kts wind but a good wind line about a mile distant
